Amplifying Genres That Make Minds Swirl: 15 Years of Ambient Airwaves

Since 2008, Ambient Airwaves has been dedicated to promoting and supporting bands from around the world, particularly in the shoegaze, Post-Punk, Psychedelic rock, psychgaze, post rock, and darkwave genres. Our hand-curated approach to music discovery and promotion has allowed us to build a significant platform, with over 200,000 monthly views across our social media channels.

As we expand our services, we’re excited to announce several key developments:

Ambient Airwaves is now an officially registered LLC in Illinois.
Our vision and mission statement are available on our newly launched website.
We've established a prestigious music advisory board, featuring industry professionals and experts.
Our inaugural festival, "Lake Effects: Drown in Sound," will take place at Reggie's in Chicago on 4/19/25.
We offer tailored promotion services for bands and/or their albums.
We're organizing music festivals showcasing our core genres, with flexibility to mix and match styles.
Collaborations with music venues and agencies are welcome.
